Column of Hope Research Update and Links to Videos of the 2019 CSF Flow at Niagara Falls International Conference Patient & Caregiver Session, hosted by Column of Hope

How lucky were we at Column of Hope to have our research conference in Buffalo for 100 neuroscientists from 5 continents last year instead of this year?! The CSF Flow at Niagara Falls International Conference was held on June 26 - 28,2019 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Buffalo, NY.

This one-year anniversary of the conference is a perfect time to announce that our main 2020 research project can finally start back up in Sydney, Australia after 3+ months of a COVID-19 pause.

We are building on the knowledge from past research to:

  1. Determine what surgical outcome is required to finally eliminate the debilitating Chiari headache.
  2. Determine what surgical outcome is required to improve the cognition issues that often accompany Chiari.
  3. This phase of research will be a precursor to determine what outcome is required from Chiari surgery to resolve the pain and paralysis of syringomyelia.

The ILC generously videotaped and edited the Patient & Caregiver Session of the conference.
